David & Dyane Wright’s reputation for consistently high standards, attention to detail and providing only the most experienced and professional musicians resulted in Wright Music & Productions providing musicians and production assistance for the past 7 Inaugurals. Wright Music & Productions was involved with many of the Official Inaugural Committee events, State/Corporate Inaugural Balls and Parade Parties.
Each of the average number of 146 musicians per Inaugural, were in place on time, you can imagine the logistical planning involved. The music was enthusiastically received and the phone calls of congratulations were overwhelming.
The Production and logistical experience gained by this office in planning and providing the music and production for the 2009, 2005, 2001, 1997, 1993, 1989 Inaugural have improved our ability to serve you in designing your event.
2009
Wright Music & Productions provided musicians for the Florida State Delegation Ball at the National Museum of the American Indian (1/20), the GE/NBC Brunch at the National Museum for Women in the Arts (1/19), the Michigan State Delegation Ball at the National Museum of American History (1/12), and the Georgia State Delegation Ball at the National Museum of Natural History (1/19) event featured Jeffrey Osborne & "The Wright Touch".
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority (1/17 & 18) 1/18 event featured Jamie Foxx & "The Wright Touch"
2005
Wright Music & Productions provided musicians for the Michigan Gala at the Museum of American History (3000 guests, 25 local musicians in 4 bands, + 4 Michigan Bands, including "The 4 Tops"), the Pennsylvania Gala at the Natural History Museum (1200 guests 22 musicians – "The Wright Touch" accompanied Mickey Rooney and his wife, Jan.
The American Indian Museum for the Florida Gala
January 18 & 19: "The Wright Touch" also performed for Senator Frist’s reception at the Corcoran Gallery, the General Electric Reception at The Willard Hotel, and several RNC receptions at various locations including the Air & Space Museum
2001
Wright Music & Productions provided musicians for the Michigan Ball at the Museum of American History (3000 guests and 49 musicians) the Pennsylvania Ball at the Museum of Natural History (1000 guests and 27 musicians), the Florida Ball dinner at the Willard Hotel and numerous "Swearing in" and Parade Parties.
1997
Wright Music & Productions provided musicians, production services for "The Blue Dogs Parade Party" (conservative Democratic coalition), American Film Institute Parade Party and provided 6 dance bands and musical ensembles at the Museum of American History for the Michigan Congressional Delegation Gala. David led his 12 member Motown Band and was Master of Ceremonies.
1993
David & Dyane performed their 6th Inauguration with "The President's Own", The U.S. Marine Band at The Capitol Building for the swearing-in ceremony and marched with the Marine Band for the parade. David Wright led his dance band, "The Wright touch", during events for Tennessee, Michigan, Illinois and The democratic Leadership Council. The average attendance for these events was over 2000 guests. His band performed at The Corcoran Museum of Art, The American History Museum, The Department of Commerce Malcom Baldrige Hall, The Willard Hotel and The National Museum of Women in the Arts.
1989
Wright Music & Productions contracted the musicians for the Kennedy Center "Salute to Barbara Bush" Concert. We also provided music for several corporate and organizational events at The Grand Hotel, JW Marriott, Longworth Congressional Office Building, etc.
Dyane & David performed for the swearing in ceremony at the Capitol and marched in the Inaugural Parade as members of "The President's Own," US Marine Band.
